ARE YOU CHOSEN BY GOD?
In order to achieve greatness, one must be willing to embrace their uniqueness. It is often the case that those who are different from the norm are met with skepticism and even ostracism from their peers.
This can lead to feelings of anxiety and despair, which can be quite overwhelming. However, it is important to remember that being unique is a gift. It allows one to see the world in a different light and approach problems from a fresh perspective.
When one is different, they are often viewed as unique. This uniqueness can be both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it can be isolating to feel like you don’t fit in with the crowd.
On the other hand, it can be incredibly liberating to know that you are not bound by the same constraints as everyone else.
Unique individuals often have a different way of thinking and doing things, which can lead to innovative solutions and groundbreaking ideas.
It is important to note that being unique does not mean being perfect. Everyone has flaws and imperfections, and it is these imperfections that make us human.
Embracing our differences and quirks is what makes us stand out from the crowd. It is what makes us interesting and memorable.
So, if you want to do great things, don’t be afraid to be different. Embrace your uniqueness and let it guide you towards greatness.
But the distinctive feature is that we do not do things the way it is done by others. A group of people can also be unique, which is why God sets His children apart.
There is a calling over your life, and as a child of God, you are called to do great things. Things that will make you the head and not the tail. Things that will prosper you and make you great. God sets you apart so His will for your life will be done.
TO BE SET APART BY GOD
Being set apart by God is a divine privilege that signifies that God has handpicked and chosen you for a special purpose. This divine selection is not a random occurrence, but a deliberate act of God’s grace.
The story of Abraham is a perfect example of God’s divine selection. God chose Abraham and blessed him with a promise that he would become a great nation, famous, and a blessing to others.
God also made it clear that anyone who cursed Abraham would be cursed, and anyone who blessed him would be blessed.
However, what many people overlook is the fact that God included a very special part in His promise to Abraham. This special part was a covenant that God made with Abraham, promising to be his God and the God of his descendants.
This covenant was a sign of God’s love and faithfulness to Abraham and his descendants, and it is a reminder that being set apart by God is not just about being chosen for a special purpose, but also about being part of a divine family.
God told Abraham that all the families of the earth will be blessed through Him. This part foretells the coming of Jesus Christ, and the blessings that will come to everyone who believes in Jesus.
After the death of Abraham, Isaac his son continued to be faithful to God, just like his father. God maintained His promises from Isaac, Cain, and Jacob.
Jacob’s children were taken captive by Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. But this did not stop God from setting them apart from the rest of the world.
He has chosen you to be His people prized above all others on the face of the earth. The earth is not because you were more numerous than all the other people that the Lord favored and chose you, for you were the least numerous of people. Rather it is because of His love for you, and His faithfulness to the promise He solemnly vowed.
The faithful God who keeps covenant faithfully with those who love Him, and keep His commandments to a thousand generations.
This shows that Israel was set apart by God as He had chosen them for Himself. Because He loved them, and they had the right standing with God.
When God loves you He sets you apart and you are to obey Him and not do anything to damage the right standing you have with God.
GOD SETS YOU APART
God sets you apart. He sets you apart from the ways, thoughts, and attitudes of the world. Romans 12:2 – says do not be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, and what is good and acceptable and perfect.
The moment you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord you are set apart from God, and this must show in the way you live your life. When God sets you apart, He singles you out for special treatment. This way you are blessed by His bidding, and for His pleasure.
You have found favor with God when He sets you apart and His grace will grant you victory all around. Being set apart does not mean things will go well for you at every point in time.
Rather, it means even when things are challenging, God will be there with you. The world has no affection or love for Jesus Christ, and you will be persecuted just as He was.
If you do not agree with the world and its principles, you must ensure that you are steadfast and do not allow yourself to be overcome by the world.
Because Jesus Christ has overcome the world, when God sets you apart you do not need to worry about those that set you aside.
What other people say or do to you should not worry you at all. People do not get to set the standard for what is special, or the trends that you should follow.
They do not get to set the standard. The standard is set by God, and God only. We must live our lives in a Godly way, because He has made me Godly, and He made you Godly, this is the best way He can have a relationship with us.
IS GOD CALLING YOU?
Every Christian is called to live a life of obedience to God; but there is also a calling for individual lives. God calls you and He needs you to be a vessel unto honor and He calls you to salvation in Christ.
In Matthew 11:28-30 says, “Come unto me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke and learn from Me for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
God can call you into different things. He can call you in things related to jobs, ministries, relationships, etc. He can call you to start something or to stop something, and He can call you to go somewhere or stay exactly where you are.
There is a calling over your life by God through Jesus, and He invites you to have a relationship with Him, all you have to do is hand over your burdens and do things His way.
The first reason why God calls you is for you to let God love you. God loves you so much, and He wants you to be with Him; but sin drives us away from God.
We must avoid sin, so that we can have a relationship with God. So that He can guide us to complete our individual purpose here on earth.
For you to know God’s calling, you have to hear when He is calling you. It is a beautiful and wonderful thing when God sets you apart.
It means you are about to be great and do great things. It means your story is about to change for the better and you must keep obeying God’s will if you want Him to call upon you.
You must not look and behave like those in the world, but keep yourself pure, righteous, and Holy. God’s calling for your life is to bless you. We must embrace this with all of our heart by being obedient and dedicated to Him.
